Someone tell the Madrid press they did not invent football nor own it.
Bellingham's performances this season are actually better–from an individual standpoint–than last season. Ppl are delusional to want to judge him based of goals/assists esp.with Mbappé's arrival repsonsible for scoring goals. Last season there were spells during games where he wasn't as involved yet he'll show up on the scoresheet. This season he is playing futher back but is not playing bad at all.
The English midfielder did a great physical job throughout the match, but he still hasn't found his feet on the pitch.
People blindly criticizing Bellingham don’t actually watch him objectively. He’s in the 99th percentile for pass completion, 97th for blocks, 96th for passes attempted, 95th for progressive passes, 92nd for tackles, 92nd for interceptions, and 84th for aerials won. He’s not playing as a false 9/10 this season and racking up goals and assists higher up the field because of Mbappe’s arrival. He’s playing as an actual 8 this season much deeper. And his actual performance stats, as opposed to just goals and assists, reflect that he’s playing at a very high level.
i guess Mbappe being there, stopped Jude from missing two point blank shots in front of goal. Just ludicrous propaganda for English players. You are ruining the game ESPN. He's a good player not yet great. This is why England never wins anything, overhype players to levels they can't deliver. Just stupid.
Bellingham is the perfect example of the media building a player up just to tear him down
