About Copa Sudamericana
Copa Sudamericana is an annual international football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 2002. It is the second most important and prestigious tournament in South America.
The competition is played in knockout rounds where 32 clubs from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay enters in the 1st Stage to play two-legged tie matches.

Lanús (ARG), Independiente (ARG), Arsenal (ARG), San Lorenzo (ARG), São Paulo (BRA), Internacional (BRA), Universidad de Chile (CHI), LDU (ECU), Pachuca (MEX) and Cienciano (PER) have 1 title each. The current champion of the competition is Lanús (ARG).
