  1. If a player loses/fumbles the ball at any moment of the game it’s considered a “knock on” or “knock forward” then they pretty much have to hand the ball over to the other team

  2. Fatigue makes defending harder. Rugby doesn't stop. It's easier with a break in between tackles. Thanks for the entertainment.🤙🏾

  3. Shaun Johnson had speed and a good step/juke, but was a rubbish playmaker. New Zealanders actually thought he was a good player because not many good players come out of NZ. I don't think he won a premiership and just recently got dropped. State of Origin definitely would not pick him if he was eligible to play. He's team never came close to winning a grand final nor making the top 8 every year as he was just so unconsistant. You look at cronk, Thurston, Jerome Hughes or clearly people like that shaun just was not on their level. Greg lnglis played in the half's for a little bit and done a better job then shaun and that's Shaun's actual postion. Let's just say if shaun johnson was born in Australia there is no way him making the aus team nor the state of origin.

  4. Cool review man it’s good you have a football background because you understand the skills involved.

Rugby league is a game of endurance and physicality with 2, 40 minute continuous halves with 6 tackles (downs) each before you hand the ball over to the other team then play defence.

The big boys stay in the middle of the field similar to linesman, the edges(of the middle) players are your athletic mobile big boys like tight ends. There are 2 pivots (quarterbacks) that stand on both sides of the ruck (tackled player) where they play the ball each tackle.

Shaun Johnson is a pivot who ball handles and kicks and is the link (playmaker) from the middles to the outside backs (Receivers out wide).

Hope this helps to understand the game of rugby league (not rugby union – different rules) a little better

  5. I’ve been watching some of your reactions to State of Origin. Maybe you could consider reacting to “the rules of AFL” it’s Australia’s biggest sport. Rugby League is only in NSW and QLD. All other states play AFL (NSW also has a team). It’s the oldest coded football league in the world. Thanks in advance!

  6. Was great player before all the injuries. Sometimes he makes it look easy, But as a defender there are alot of moving parts to register.

  7. Jason Taumalolo: The Juggernaut (NRL Highlights) A real beast. A forward that moves and steps like a back but plays like a forward if you catch my drift. Wont dissapoint.

  8. Great reaction and a lot of the times when people don’t just tackle him when he’s looking the other way is they’re trying to predict the next ball carrier to get a head start on him and take him down, but by then it’s too late they’re already too committed to the player who hasn’t got the ball and gets juked out by Shaun. If that makes sense

  9. SJ was absolutely electric in his younger days, one of those freak runners that seemed to gain speed while changing direction!

He played against some great players in his prime, often getting the better of them at rep level (which people often forget) and was a big part of NZ finally matching and bettering their Aussie counterparts. It's a shame he never quite had the talent around him at club level. So great to watch

  10. Terry Lamb landed a game winning field goal from 52/53 meter's out back in the day.
Benji Marshall made a game winning field goal from 51 meter's out too.

  11. SHAUN JOHNSON PLAYS HALFBACK. He always passes the ball and sets other teammates to score a try. He sometimes fools the defense completely when he throws the dummy pass and takes a run because his role as halfback is to set other players and kick the ball on fifth tackle.
