I thought that it was mandatory for head injuries to stop the game. Why should a team be forced to play with 10 players when one of them is literally bleeding from their head?

There needs to be a change in rules, when a ref is forcing a player off the team should be allowed to make an emergency sub, so the team still has a full squad, today was a perfect example, de ligt is forced off then Brentford score from the corner.

Despite the win, what an absolute joke and a mess the way we treated De Ligt’s head injury. Just clean him up and stick a head protection bandage on him like all the other players and then he wouldn’t need to come off the pitch to clean it every 2 minutes and concede bc he was not on the pitch. 🙄🙄🙄
