If I was a manager and one of my players took a penalty like that then he wouldn’t play again. These ridiculous “tap” penalties are embarrassing. A penalty kick is so simple. Hit the ball so hard that even if the keeper gets a hand to the ball then the ball will still go into the goal.
Not convinced by that second yellow – it was clearly a squeeze play to try and get in the box & get the contact – ref got completely conned with that one!
Fair play to Villa. Gutted that we didn't get the result today.
