  1. It’s just friendly matches, I see no problem with him leaving. The problem I see is that we’re bad without our star players which needs to be improved upon asap

  2. football is a joke nowadays. players opting out from playing for their country is the most pathetic thing thats been happening in football. It’s a PRIVILEGE to be playing for your country. i don’t doubt Pulisic was the one who opted out cause thats the mentality the new generation had nowadays. pecho frío.

  3. The US doesn't have to qualify and you want the best player healthy. I have no problem with Pulisic skipping the game. Next year, closer to the WC, he needs to play; but not now.

  4. The bottom line is we needed to see how much work the squad has to get to the level of consistent competitiveness. It doesn’t matter a few players left. They had twenty that didn’t play with any fight. That’s the concern. Not whether it was so and so decision to let pulisic leave.

  5. Pulisic has a tight schedule ahead and has a lot of miles on his legs. I’m glad Poch prioritized his health over a meaningless friendly. Poch’s main goal in the first place was to test his options as the new coach. It’s up to the players to step up and show how much they want to be considered for future national team matches. Pulisic already accomplished that.

  6. Seems like ACM asked for him. What's missing here is the controversy over the penalty kick at Milan just before CP came back. It looks like Tammy Abraham, Theo Hernandez and Tomori united in a show of disrespect to Christian, and also Fonseca, if you think about it. I think Fonseca and possibly ACM management want him back early to sort through all the mess.

  7. This is a joke. It was a FRIENDLY with Mexico. Who cares?!?! The only people who cared about this game were people in Mexico, and former players that seem incredibly biased against Pulisic. How about we just get behind the USMNT and or new managers and look forward to some matches that actually matter.

  8. UGH!!! I had to switch this off. No one but these former player/pundants care about this….this take by Keller is ridiculous. 90 minutes was The agreed upon playing tine for CP. He fulfilled that. And who says is was CP who asked to go? Easily could have been Poch telling him, so, go home. This is a big nothing sandwich. Wish these guys were as tough on Poch (already) than they were with GGG for years. So annoying.

  9. Im ok w pulisic not playing some of these games that are friendly he is playing alot right now in AC milan so hes ok . We need to know who is next man up because he will need to rest in world cup games too

  10. It wasn't just a meaningless friendly. The result had impact on USMNT's seeding in next months Nations League quarterfinals.

Because of the loss we are seeded third and will take on Jamaica. If we had beaten Mexico we would be playing Suriname.

  11. Let’s say Pulisic plays this friendly game. Knowing the rivalry and all the hacking they do to legs and ankles. And he get hurts, I wonder what the narrative would be then from this talking heads!!!

  12. At first it was a bit upsetting however logically it was the right decision. Pulisic doesn’t need to prove anything especially against Mexico what we really needed was to see if the b/c team has what it takes which now we can see they don’t and that there’s a lot of work to do once everyone is injury free I believe poch will have it a great squad to work with

  13. Why does EVERY USMNT player think they are the coach??

I followed since 94' WC. I need this shi^% show of American players to STOP IT!##

STOP IT BEFORE YOU LOOK FOOLISH TO FANS.

SUPPORT 100% I'm so disdainful of the pettiness.

  14. This is a joke stfu. This is what, the THIRD international break for this club season? And we're not even in November yet. Shut up. It was a friendly essentially, I know fifa has basically eliminated the friendly so they can make more money but just shut up already.

  15. Consider the travel Pulisic goes through. From Milan to Austin. From Austin to Guadalajara. It takes a toll on you physically especially if he is playing a game every 3-4 days

  16. The only people complaining are the former players. All fans seem to understand Pulisic needed a break. Plus Pulisic is not Modric, who is a beast and is not as injury prone as Pulisic.

  17. It's a friendly against a team that has always led to a very physical matchup. Poch probably wanted to test out his depth anyways. He sent all our best players back. This was clearly a decision by the coach.

  18. As pulisic is healthy and let’s hope he doesn’t get injured but he is playing very good with Milan why risk it. Especially, having limited games with the usmnt

  19. Why stay and play a meaningless contentious friendly game with Mexico? Instead of going to Milan to continue to train with his club and further dominate at Milan. I mean why risk him at this point? We can pull the national team card when it is necessary. Good job by Potch to not risk him and build a relationship with Milan plus other managers. I'm certain this was Potchettino's decision. Again it was a friendly and we saw that the heavy MLS team has some issues which need to be remedied.

  20. for a Tuesday night friendly? FFS. What’s up with these fools? And Luka Modric doesn’t have to fly 12 hours one way to a meaningless game. Let Pulisic rest!

  21. No. Pulisic got an assist in Serie A today and is top of the leage in goal contributions. Why do we care so much about a meaningless friendly south of the border as usual. Plain ordinary pablum is not a worthy trade off. We need new commentators.
