He's been at a very high performance level since he joined Arsenal, so I don't think anyone can claim it's damaging his game.

Love him
Does the carpenter go home and talk about 4x2s all evening? Lol
Just goes to show that you don't have to let your job consume 100% of your life and everything around it needs to be about what you do to be good at it. Ben can clearly lock in when it matters, but I think it's healthy and more realistic to expect this approach to the game. It's just that we've been conditioned by modern football to think that players think about it all the time, obviously the more passionate ones do, but not everyone needs to micromanage the game. And that takes nothing away from what the player provides on the pitch, given how great Ben has been for Arsenal so far.
You don't consume the drug you cook.
I don't love my job either lol.
So unlikeable.
Thatβs a man just doing his jeeerb
I miss footballers from the 90s/early 2000s, passion/love for the game. Ben is the modern footballer. Athletic first and foremost, run all day up and down to pitch and does what the manager wants him do. Heβs honest and I respect that.
The most forgettable RB, overrated and england won't miss him. Put him in a midtable team and nobody's talking about him
Maybe if he watched it arsenal could win a league / european title
I hate my job too ππ but I love the attention I get from saying that ππ
Dead footballer ngl

Arteta once said you just have to give Ben white game instructions once and he gets it the whole game.. Mans biggest strength is his brain.
That s why he never got the talent to be creative on the pitch
It's a job to him, not a passion. Nothing wrong with that
Last 2 seasons he was the best RB in the league so obviously it's not that important to be obsessed with football.
I think what he meant is he doesn't love watching it. He's visibly very passionate on the pitch.
Its unique for sure. But i dont hate it. Treats it like a job and hes good at his job
The Underlap
one of the most consistent rb past years. if he adds a few big trophies he will have a genuine shout to be Arsenals best RB of all time
My understanding was football is very intense and even his playstyle is very intense so he likes to get away from it all when is not playing. This helps him keep a balance between football and life and maintain focus.
Like arteta said, when you see him play you can tell that is not someone who has no passion and only does it as a job.
A lot are like this just few compared to others. Perfect example West Ham legendary GK and who I wanted to do well even though Iβm a Gooner for England. Was Rob Green. He was NOT a football fan just did it for a job. That guy with the wavy hair who done Hellβs Kitchen is another one. His kids didnβt even know he was a celebrity chef cos he doesnβt even cook at home. No why would he he cooks enough at work π€£π
I don't care about my job once its over. This is completely normal
Arsenal fans get behind your boy heβs proper relatable lmao
Most people don't focus on their jobs outside of working hours, it's no different for Ben White. I love my job but if I was spending every evening and weekend obsessing over it, in addition to the usual 40 hours, I'd probably get sick of it.
So weird
