He can't recover when he leaves spaces behind and he isn't that decisive to sacrifice the fullback on the other side (to be instructed to defend). Talented player, but he isn't the total package, he could've been a rotational piece though, but money is an issue. Xavi said he had good qualities that he needed to show consistently. Barca needed to reduce the wage bill so it's jot just Xavi, maybe he didn't justify his salary if he was paid like a starter.

So many people criticize Dest because they think he’s American because he plays for the USMNT but he’s actually Dutch. He’s basically like Frimpong but doesn’t get criticized like him.
