  1. He's not wrong, the media and the fans criticise the team in every way possible in all tournaments, they have done since the mid 90s.
You've got a bunch of people that rarely watch football suddenly pull on the England shirt and think they know all.
Former players recruited by the BBC who won nothing at international level, didn't even come close tbh.. but they're the ones calling out the current players who have been to two finals and a semi-final? It's laughable and terrible, fickle fans.

  2. England have won nothing since 1966 we hadn't even got to another final until two years ago. We're now into another final and I honestly believe we'll win it this time. Let's just get behind the manager and the team.

  3. Theres a patern to his success! Its not coincidence so give this guy the respect he fully deserves!
If we lose on Sunday it will be to an incredible Spanish team so try not to switch on him again.

  4. He is a nice guy but very outdated, he needs to walk away after the competition and he will be regarded as one of our best managers if not.. like Wenger all the good will be forgotten.

  5. I can only imagine what Mourihno would have said at this stage if he had explained the same thing. That tells you a lot about Southgate character

  6. I pray for Gareth and his redemption. His suffering and abuses over the years (as a player and as a coach.

To miss his 1996 shot against ze Germans and the to take England to the final in Germany!

Come on England!!!!! Get your redemption sir Gareth. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. Your definitely loved by millions for giving us unbelievable times 10years ago none of us could have imagined seeing and being apart of

  8. I usually don't care how other fan bases act and think but the way a lot of the English fans treat Southgate is more stupid and dumb than bad,if not for Southgate England has not been in a final since 1966,he has been in 2 in what 10 years ? Put some respect on his name FFS.

  9. That’s healthy, honest leadership right there. And it’s a disgrace that he had to face so much verbal and other abuse during this tournament. It’s utterly incomprehensible to me, really. And I’m Dutch. I heard a journalist tell someone on the radio that ‘the criticism made Southgate stronger’. That is utter nonsense. It’s rather that Southgate’s strength somehow made him endure the abuse whilst coaching the team to the final. Abuse is never okay. I hope he & the team beat Spain and win the final.

  10. As an Italian who lived in England for many years I wasent very happy to win.on penalties..3 years ago against England.I remember Souhgate with tremendous class going to congratulate Mancini.
Let's go England I really hope you will win❤

  11. Personal insults, throwing beer bottles are absolutely unacceptable and childish, however, the vast majority of criticism he’s received has been absolutely fair and necessary. What do you want us to do Gareth compliment you on terrible performances? No. So he has my sympathy for personal attacks as he’s a nice guy but a truly awful manager
