Don't think we have the money for Bastoni, but he is an upgrade for sure. We can keep Martinez as a Blind type rotational player.

Martinez is the best center back in the premier league interms of progressing the ball i think he is second to none i think he is better than pau torres in his penatrative passing he has diverse ball progressing skill
Why not push Licha into midfield as a holding midfielder? It will literally help us defensively in the middle.
Martinez doesn't think like a CB tactically. He is reckless , another Bruno in defence. Against Spurs , i think, he pushed forward and through himself at a missed tackle in center line leaving the rest of the backline exposed. And he does stuff like that all the time. He might be a fan favourite due to his passion but he is not it, for me.
He would thrive in a 3 man defence as the LCB or at DM.
Bastoni is not world class he makes alot of mistake and he is not quick either also not agressive as lisandro martinez interms of passing he is great but still we have not seen the best out of martinez since united are not that attqcking team

I think it would be significantly difficult to convince bastoni to leave Italy, bearing in mind he is one of those vying for the captaincy of both club and country team. But i do think we need an upgrade on Martinez, because, in as much as he is one of the best in the world when it comes to incisive passes through the midfield and aggressive defending, he does have really obvious weaknesses. And mind you this is a story of most if not all our best players, they are world class when it comes to what they do but have significant weaknesses which can be exposed and exploited ( Bruno, Rashford). So i am of the idea he should upgraded but the only reasonable upgrade for him would be branthwhite.
A new left back would be very important as well.

Hi atlantis in the academy we have this 17 year old 6’5 Lcb/lb hybdrid named godwill kukonki. Has fantastic recovery pace Can break lines with his line breaking passes Comfortable with the ball. Keep an eye on him can see him being in the first team in the next years
