We need a break, Scotland are not playing badly in these last 3 games but we lack a bit of cutting edge and are weakened through a dozen injuries but the spirt is still strong. We really could do with a bit luck to get us out of this winless run.

I don't rate Scotland anyway, but to make the statement that the team is missing many top quality players is a total slap in the face to the players on the pitch. Given the performance for the last 20 years the top quality players don't rate much. Meanwhile, the inference is that the players that were on the pitch were inexperienced, which actually tells me, if they were given more games they would gain the experience to outperform the missing players. That was a competitive performance against a team that knows how to dig out a win.
The SFA and the Scottish manager are a joke. They were an national embarrassment at the Euro's. Unlike England, the Scottish FA didn't protect the national teams games for terrestrial TV viewers, they sold the rights to SKY. So now, if you don't subscribe to Sky Sports, you have to go to a pub to watch your national team oh yes, and the Scottish Government have just hiked the price of booze up yet again. We have a bunch of middle class half-wits (i.e. the "tartan army") parading around Europe in fancy dress, demonstrating their Freudian need to be loved by the world when the vast majority of them voted against independence in the referendum! The whole thing is a sorry joke Scotland, which boasts the oldest club teams in the world has become one of the minnows of world football.

Simon Murray deserves a shot up front. Lyndon Dykes is too predictable. If we are going to have Doak running and tricking at defences from width and crossing the ball we need more dynamics in the striking department, more fire and doing the runs.

Doak looked great in his first start, although probably should have been tracking his man at the back post for the 2nd goal. Gilmour solid as always but defensively, we were horrendous and why on earth is Gordon starting in goal, man must be ready to move into a retirement home.
It does look like an own-goal at the end, doesn't it? !.
