  1. Love the deal!!! This deal opens the door to Liverpool winning the league next season! Especially if no more incomings for City.

  2. Nunez 29 g/a at season 23/24
    Writz 37 g/a at season 23/24
    Musiala 20 g/a at season 23/24
    Alvarez 32 g/a at season 23/24

Increible todo lo que ha hecho Julian!!!! Tan maltratado por el City, desde el entrenador hasta los fans. Merece recuperar su sonrisa y disfrute en el juego! Y dejar esa ciudad oscura y fria.

  3. There are plenty attacking players in the squad who can contribute with G/A. The focus should be on a central midfielder but there is no need to rush it. Alvarez leaving happened at the perfect time, where would Haaland, Alvarez, Foden, Savio, Doku, Bernardo, Oscar all fit in ? Eccheveri is also coming soon.

  4. If Kev and Erling are injured less this season, I think we barely notice his absence. Think this will give Bobb more minutes too so I’m really happy.

Thanks Julian, good luck and farewell.

Would like to see the profit put into the pot for the fabled Rodri backup though!

  5. It's certainly not ideal, but it's not the end of the world, as you said we have plenty of players that can cover his lost G/A, in particular Oscar Bobb! 💙 Oscar is a generational talent and I have absolutely no doubt he's got a fantastic season (and City career in general) ahead of himself, he just needs to keep a level head and I can't see anything stopping him!! Loving the content as always mate, keep it up!! 👊💙

  6. Julian is leaving simply because he didn't feel relevant to Pep and the team anymore, playing only 5 minutes in a champions league final, or not playing a final at all. That makes sense for a world champion? Having Halland in the main 11 when the guy is a total failure in finals, he is totally IRRELEVANT, and is not me, check at the numbers. Also, Pep is to blame here, because having two good strikers, and yet he is clueless when looking for a different system where both can be playing at the same time, instead of the useless Silva/Grealish. Pep, for saying that in his last interview about Julian, menacing him, was only digging his own grave, because a player like Julian is not easy to find, and despite Argentina at the olympics, Julian is a TRUE winner. That's what matters and that's what we all as argentinians care about. We don't want one of our best players eating bench just because Pep has to justified a giant with a big name but no goals. Think about that.

  7. I fucking hate that everyone is saying it's good business and good money yadda yadda. Yeah I agree
But, do you realize we might have lost a generational talent? With last season's squad where half of the team was injured, Alvarez played everywhere except defense.
Where the fuck we're going to find this kind of Pep player. I know Pep can build one. But, we should just not value a player with only money. If he's unhappy in City, first there should be a way to make him happy because he's not a mid player. A star player. Selling young players off to only play the old players like Bernado or KDB isn't a good solution. We'll soon be in a position where we can't win games. City management also has to keep that in mind

  8. Essentially, I feel it's a downgrade, of course, a perfect business move, but a quality downgrade nonetheless, because any striker you can buy now would have to accept being a secondary option and eat those 0 important matches, and there are no top-class strikers available for such a role.
If Man City decides not to buy a striker, all the pressure of those 30+ goals/assists needed to win a league will be on Haaland, whom I'm not sure can play an entire season without any issues, and those tough Premier League matches, like against Everton, will have to be decided with Haaland on the field.

  9. I read that his family's visas have expired and they already moved to Madrid. His brothers and parents play a fairly major part in his life, they're a close family, and the struggle to keep his family in the country might have played a part as well.

  10. You will have the same problem with Echeverri, he doesn't like being on the bench. He left River Plate because he didn't have enough minutes at 17 yo. It was quite a scandal, the fans were really angry with him saying he was too young to demand that.
Plus, the terrible weather that south americans are not used to at all
