Ollie Watkins has top 5 goal contributions since the start of last season. They're scared someone will come in, earn Kane's spot and piss him if, because he'll have to wait
facts… again fans crying to remove kane… watkins again has a chance a misses and i like ollie TOP player.. but kanye scores that chance and scores gordons no uses trying to shirk around the point i'd agree at the euros there were times where he needed dragging earlier but theres levels to finishing and watkins toney etc need 3-4 guilt edge chances at the top level.. kane usually if he misses the first the seconds coming
Um…what? England have arguably the most varied and highest quality of 9s in international football at the moment. Even if you ignore players that usually play wide but can play central you've still got Kane, Watkins, Toney and Solanke. That's 4 different options from just recent call ups who play central at top level. Spain just won the Euros with Morata and Joselu as their only real 9s. Honestly these kind of excuses are embarrassing.
It's worse when the glaring gaps in the England team are in CM and LB. But nah, we need Kane, Haaland, Lewandoski and Osimhem or something?
England should have moved on from Harry Kane after the 2020 Euro's. It's like playing with 10 men now when he starts. England need to move on from him.

England have plenty of Number 9 options. Kane, Solanke, Watkins, Gordon plays there for Newcastle at times, Welbeck could do a job if asked, Delap looks like a prospect. Joke stuff from Deeney
