Nice guy, did a lot for England, but much better as member of the coaching staff as opposed to a manager, not a big enough personality and attitude to make the difficult decisions, plays things too safe

We should have won three tournaments with him at the helm! But, his unadventurous style, his reluctance to drop his buddies ie Harry Kane killed it for us! He’s a nice man, and has done a lot of good. But, the bottom line is, with the fabulous crop of players we had, we should and could have won something!
