As Real Madrid fan I can tell that Liverpool is a very similar club, heritage and class is there! Clubs also respect each other
I say get Martinez. He may not look it but he has the aura of Sergio Ramos. The only thing is that he needs guidance and class around him.
Everytime I see Craig Burley I skip the show. I can't stand this flip flop. He never says anything good about anyone who's not British. Listen to him "Alfonso Davies when has he ever played right back" then "oh Alexander Arnold one of the best attacking right backs " we all know Alfonso Davies is a better defender than trent .

If you've got a ready made replacement defensively in Conor Bradley and Trent is going to walk for free in the summer then if Madrid offer Liverepooe say 25 million in January then you've got to take the money in my view unless Liverpool are 6 points clear in the PL in which case the title is a very realistic possibility.
Trent is a future Liverpool captain. Why would he go to Madrid just to be another player.

Hakimi and Davies if they can would be crazy next summer. Only issue is when Carvajal comes back from injury I guess he could be let go or become a backup for rotation. No idea who they will get for CB. I heard they have a Ramos regen coming through.

Madrid not having a plan B, C or D when it comes to player recruitment is why they are in such a dire situation when it comes to their defensive line. Plan B doesn't mean it's a player you don't want- it's the player you want if option A player doesn't work out

Honestly RB is a limited spot at the moment for top tier talent. In FC 24 I ended up developing Ramsay from Liverpool/Scotland. Obviously not an option for Madrid 😂
Ramos for a season would’ve been a smart move. RB is tough because there really isn’t a lot of options but a cheap option is Arnau Martinez, or Pedro Porro would be a great option

Hakimi should have never been let go in the first, Real Madrid made a mistake with that years ago. Trent is good but he is no Dani Carvajal. Liverpool will know Real Madrid will be desperate to sign Trent so they will either resign him or overprice is price-tag to force Real Madrid to overpay. Reece James will be a good option but his contract is complicated & he's injury prone. Real Madrid might have to look into bringing S.Ramos back (less money & he's a free agent) & move Militao to RB. A temporary solution for a long season ahead.
