I was in the Adelaide Oval watching this game, 2 teams at different levels. China was very lucky for the 1st goal and ended with 1:3, could be worse.

Great patience from the Ref on 3rd goal. Played an advantage from just inside attacking half, phase of play leads up to a potential for PK, however delayed, again, just a moment to see how play developed then a goal is scored. Excellent work aided by swift prompt positioning.

I think the scoreline flatters Australia frankly. For most of the game they were pedestrian with most them standing around, not making runs and looked like they were playing for time frankly. Japan will belt us if that's the best we can come up with. Souttar and Irvine both had games to forget with ineffective defense and sloppy passing.
