I don’t blame him for not caring about the stupid Nations League games.
We as fans don’t even care about those pointless matches. For most of us, the international break is a period of time we live in anxiety, hoping our clubs players don’t get injured.
If they insist on having these extra internationals, why not make it so only u23s/ u21s can play in it. Or even not Premiership players. Would be a wonderful opportunity for them to represent their country where they otherwise would never get the chance

Even as a Barcelona fan, I can understand why he is rested. Barcelona lost too many players in international duty, while it is inevitable and acceptable for a player to play even if he is not feeling 100% or getting injured playing in major tournament, but this is just Nations League. Why are people getting so serious about it. For a pacey player like Mbappe it is good that he gets some rest before the hectic schedule ahead.
