No wonder ac milan isn't in first place. They are not working together
'Pulisic is a bystander of a lot of ego at play here'
Couldnt agree any more.
They disobeyed the coach twice. The question shouldn't be "what is required for Pulisic to do?" That question should be on Theo and Tammy. The answer is obey the coach.
Theo should lose the armband and Tammy sits for a few games
Shak is 100% right on his closing point. Fonseca should take the disrespect seriously by benching everyone involved even if it means potentially losing his job. If he loses his job while letting players like Tammy Abraham disregard him, then he deserves the sack and he deserves to not find a new job when the next football director looks at his weakness.
I don’t know if it’s in Pulisic’s best interest to get involved in any teammate controversies. He was not liked by his Chelsea teammates (he made way too many gestures of his displeasure). He’s doing well at a club that appreciates his play, and his teammates accept him.
disrespectful asf
As an American SET YOUR FOOT DOWN! Boss the game.
Tammy n Tomori are punks
Herc with the Guatemala jersey 🔥🇬🇹
I have said it for years as a Pulisic fan. He needs to be demanding and agressive. He needs to own the room and pitch. He has the talent to back it up.
It’s an ego thing 🤦🏽♂️ they didn’t let him take it cuz he’s from 🇺🇸and they from Europe , such an ego thing
I think the key here is that the players who snubbed him, as i understand it, were former chelsea teammates (which means they came from the same culture that snubbed pulisic during those years of "paying his dues" or just professional purgatory in a lead up year to world cup play. either way, it's like a flashback from that culture of medicrity in coaching that trickled down to players. AC Milan has been a place for his to grow finally. Don't let the chelsea culture carry over. it was a mediocre track, don't let them drag AC Milan back down that road.
by the same token, is Pulisic the Harry Kane of Milan? Premature to go that far. Which is just to say, the coach should not put the pressure on him by declaring him the PK taker.
Just a comedy of errors preempted by mediocre (in the Post Mourinho era) Chelsea players. Best thing to do is move along like it didn't happen and let Puli keep rolling.
There is to much ego around this team the captain should have set his foot and set nah Christian is taking the pen if they can’t join as team like that and have ego I don’t see them doing any better this year
I don't like Tammy Abraham either – he's habitus reminds me a gibbon, he should go play basketball with his skinny legs and long hands
At some point pulisic gotta stop being nice. Christian-everyone takes advantage of Americans-it doesn’t matter if you’re on a Caribbean vacation or at work in Europe. Stop being naive
It's Fonseca's fault. He haven't been clear enough.
Ummmmm yeah Pulisic needs to be more assertive. Like yo, he is their number one player right now! ACT LIKE IT!
I agree with the disrespect from his teammates, but I must object to Pulisic's character inside the pitch. He must be bold, stand up for himself and just take the ball to the penalty spot. What are they going to do? Punch him? He has made good on his end by performing well for the team and has rightfully earned the right to take any penalty he wants.
Why dosnt whoever gets fouled takes the pk?
Pulisic is being treated like a Minority lol I hope he now knows what it’s like being a minority in America!
The coach has some thinking to do about the e captain that’s clearly not functioning as one.
I have the impression this is something Pocchetino should talk about with the players. Tell them to play for the respect they are not getting. A good motivation.
