  1. Calafiori is now a guaranteed starter. His defensive aggression, progressive aggression and passes are brilliant. These are helping Rice, Trossard, Martinelli and even Saka a lot. I reckon that after the skipper returns our starting team will be:
    Raya
    White
    Saliba
    Gabriel
    Calafiori
    Merino
    Rice
    Ødegård
    Martinelli
    Saka
    Havertz
And even with this team we will have Trossard, Timber, Tomiyasu, Kiwior Zinchenko, Partey, Jorginho, Jesus, Sterling, MLS, Nwaneri, Neto on bench.

  2. Martinelli is always the most pivotal part in our tactic. We build up slow and careful that is when martinelli bring pace and power to balance it up. Plus the rival side defender tends to push not that high as no one is willing to run with him. Guardiola knew that and put Walker ahead of Rico who he prefer more this season.

  3. The biggest casualty of calafiori form will be ben white because timber is ambidextrous and a guaranteed starter at both full back positions and with merino back partey will drop to the bench.

  4. I was very critical of Martinelli too since the end of last season. I even wanted him replaced. But since Man City he is a different person. Just looking at him when he walks off the pitch you can see he has a different posture, full of confidence. It’s like night and day. Similar thing to Havertz actually. For Arteta to see their potential and trust them and give them chance after chance while the fans are complaining is probably one of Artetas biggest strengths. If everyone is fit we have the best starting 11 in the league now. This year could really be the year

  5. Im a big supporter of Martinelli because he plays for Arsenal, however ive never been fully convinced by him, I can't articulate what it but there is just somthing about the way he plays that I've never taken to. Im just a fan, what do i know? I hope he continues to improve, and he has a good season that results in Arsenal winning the league.

  6. Jesus needs time too, he looks like he doesn't have confidence and is desperate for a goal which causes him to make mistakes. Arteta needs to pull him aside and calm him down and once Odegaard is back he will be back on form too. Arsenal fans forget he's performance in the champions league last season

  7. Trossard had two chances to pass the ball to Martinelli but i think he didn't pass him on purpose to keep he's position which i didn't like we could've increased our goal difference

  8. I think Declan Rice would be so much better when he would use his left foot sometimes. He manages so often to break down on the left-hand side and then can cross or pass to someone in the box. But cause he wants to use his right foot, he too often needs a touch too much and the good situation 'only' winds up in a corner kick.
