      This is Stupid. Harry thrives off good service. His job as a striker is to put chances away, not to create them too. In the big games big teams stop that service.

      If Harry Kane doesn’t score the amount of goals he does then his team wouldn’t even get in these positions to win these “big games”

      Let me remind you that Thierry Henry played in 15 FINALS and scored 1 GOAL… Yet people talk about him like he’s the greatest player ever in English football..

      It depends on service, danny murphy should shut up, there's not an awful lot a harry Kane can do against the very best defences in the world if services are not properly rendered.
      It's funny hearing this from the media. Harry kane is a world class striker end of story. Lets come back to this by the end of the season.

      Ronaldo only scored one goal in any finales he played in. This goal was a pen vs AM after Bale and Ramos had scored to win the game. Villa set up to defend. They did really well. Kane is not a one man team. It took the team to come together for Messi to win the WC. Simon is just a pundit who likes being negative and slating players as it gets the clicks and likes

      Harry Kane is a top striker, he’s not world class and that gets thrown around too much these days. He needs service to be effective, he’s never gonna create too much for himself in big games

      Didn't he basically drag Bayern on his sore back last season and scored a record 44 goals in 45 games iirc.

      It often takes players a season to settle into a new team. Some first season.

      I didn't see much off the ball movement with England during the Euros to support players like him.

      And this is coming from an Arsenal fan.

      He's too slow and wants to playmake more than do his actual role. You can't play around like this in big games hence why he's still trophyless

      Harry Kane is the English Lukaku. Mr Anonymous in big games that decide trophies or latter stages of tournaments. Non-penalty international goals against the better international sides France, Spain, Netherlands, Brazil, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Uruguay, and Sweden = 4. Then 64 against the international average to dross. If you need to blame service for a striker, then they are not a world-class striker. The top games, make things happen, and get you a goal from nowhere. How many iconic England goals has he even scored?

      In his first season in the Bundesliga, Kane scored 8 goals v the top 4 finishers. Leverkusen, Stuttgart and Leipzig. Plus, a hatrick v Dortmund, the CL finalists.

      Kane arrives at bayern the perennial German champions, scores more league goals than appearences and wins nothing. Hilarious. He does have a tendency to go awol when up against the best defenders in big games but the criticism is harsh given his goal scoring record .
      Surely hes gonna win a trophy this year…

      Saying Kane 'isnt a big game player' is the biggest load of bull cr*p Ive ever heard. He's a striker! He needs chances – if he gets them he scores more than most. Last night Gnabry shot instead of squared it for a tap in etc. In Euros he was injured shouldn't have even been playing and he still managed to score a few even though England were inferior in nearly every match! How about the teams he is playing for 'arent big game teams!'

      The only thing Id concede is he isnt a Drogba where his level actually goes up in big games thats fair. He certainly doesnt go missing though his team just creates less/zero chances for him against better defences.

      Kane has always been overrated. He's the archetypal British media pin up boy. He's been a very good striker over the years who will more often than not take chances in clinical fashion against weaker teams. Against the top level, it's not happened. His world cup was awful.

      He played in two finals for Tottenham, 2019 Champions League and the Cabrio Cup final 2021. Both games he went missing. Definitely doesn't turn up in big games. Don't even get me started on the two Euro finals he went missing in.

      Finally the Kane v Haaland debate is over.
      Kane drops too deep and try’s to spray 25 yrd passes when he should be in the box. He Should lose his spot in England.

      As a Tottenham fan… I’ve said it from day one! Kane is the most successful useless striker, doesn’t turn up in big games, zero skill, zero pace… I genuinely don’t know how he scored goals for us tbh!
