  1. So City cheats and the PL has to change their rules to allow them to cheat. And Newcastle, Chelsea and Everton back them because they want to cheat as well. Kick them all out of the league

  2. The only person that needs to be investigated in overpaying vs fair market value is whoever signs off Kavehs salary. The guy just yaps on and on and on about the same point.

  3. Its a win for football. They said the rules are necessary and we wont have teams just spending what they want and making it uncompetitive. In fact they said the rules dont go far enough. So it is a win for city, they’re unlawful in their current guise which is why when we introduce much more stringent rules as recommended by the panel, that are lawful and city will find much harder to comply with, it will be great to see them vote in favour of them

  4. The actual outcome is for sure a net positive for the premier league and not Man City. The APT system stays the same with changes in the speed at which an APT decision is made (the court ruled the process took too long) and that clubs will have some access to the databank that the premier league uses to judge if the deals are of fair market value. Also shareholder loans are now accounted for in PSR decisions.

  5. Am I the only one that doesn’t understand the victories here.. I mean, I understand it’s in black and white but it all sounds like a Willy Wonka episode

  6. Because this video is bias by just covering the Premier League's statement, here is Man City's statement:

    ""Man City:

Following today's publication of the Rule X Arbitral Tribunal Award, Manchester City Football Club thanks the distinguished members of the Arbitral Tribunal for their work and considerations and welcomes their findings:

The club has succeeded with its claim: the Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules have been found to be unlawful and the Premier League's decisions on two specific MCFC sponsorship transactions have been set aside

The tribunal found that both the original APT rules and the current, (amended) APT Rules violate UK competition law and violate the requirements of procedural fairness.

The Premier League was found to have abused its dominant position.

The tribunal has determined both that the rules are structurally unfair and that the Premier League was specifically unfair in how it applied those rules to the club in practice.

The rules were found to be discriminatory in how they operate, because they deliberately excluded shareholder loans.

As well as these general findings on legality, the tribunal has set aside specific decisions of the Premier League to restate the fair market value of two transactions entered into by the club.

The tribunal held that the Premier League had reached the decisions in a procedurally unfair manner.

The tribunal also ruled that there was an unreasonable delay in the Premier League's fair market value assessment of two of the club's sponsorship transactions, and so the Premier League breached its own rules."

  7. 1 minute reading of City's statement and PL are one greedy and jealous mfs.

The Club has succeeded with its claim: the Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules have been found to be unlawful and the Premier League’s decisions on two specific MCFC sponsorship transactions have been set aside

    – The Tribunal found that both the original APT rules and the current, (amended) APT Rules violate UK competition law and violate the requirements of procedural fairness.

    – The Premier League was found to have abused its dominant position.

    – The Tribunal has determined both that the rules are structurally unfair and that the Premier League was specifically unfair in how it applied those rules to the Club in practice.

    – The rules were found to be discriminatory in how they operate, because they deliberately excluded shareholder loans.

    – As well as these general findings on legality, the Tribunal has set aside specific decisions of the Premier League to restate the fair market value of two transactions entered into by the Club.

    – The tribunal held that the Premier League had reached the decisions in a procedurally unfair manner.

    – The Tribunal also ruled that there was an unreasonable delay in the Premier League’s fair market value assessment of two of the Club’s sponsorship transactions, and so the Premier League breached its own rules.

  8. Just remember folks that Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton were witnesses for Man City.

Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool, West Ham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham and Wolves provided written statements to support the Premier League's position.

  9. Look at the clubs who are in support of city.

One club upset they dont have a kgb agents blood money to spend anymore.

One club upset there hand chopping owners can't spend billions.

And one club who are upset they got punished for breaking the rules.

APT rules are here to stay, no suprise the propaganda state would try and twist it into a big win for them, they've changed nothing in the long team.
