Both Grealish and Rice are good lads.I wish they had stayed playing for Ireland (we need them!) but you have to realize they were born in England and they had a chance of a better future with England.It wasnt out of disrespect they choose toplay for England ,from what I've gathered they are both respectful of their Irish ancestors.
So , bottom line is ,it was small minded of the Irish fans to boo them and Irish fans are respected all over the World and they didnt do justice to themselves by their treatment of Rice and Grealish.
As a person that was born in Ireland ,the only thing I dont like about the English team is the obnoxious behavior of a portion of their fans.The team itself has always carried itself well and we Irish should acknowledge this .🇮🇪
