    Manchester City recorded our first win of the 2024/25 Champions League by easing to a 4-0 victory over Slovan Bratislava.

    Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden’s first goals of the season set us well on our way to the victory before the break in the Slovakian capital.

    Second half finishes from Erling Haaland and James McAtee – with his first ever City strike – then ensured Pep Guardiola’s side picked up our first three-point haul in the league phase of the competition’s new format.

    A dominant City could even have won by more, having 28 shots in total and striking the woodwork three times in front of 22,500 fans at the Tehelne Pole.

      =Best game Doku so far he just needs to improve his low crosses and passing to inside the ball and end product.
      = Savio great player .
      = Rico doing throughballs well that's exciting new thing .
      = Foden back to his best .
      = Haaland doing Haaland stuff .
      = Nunez was great he was playing like 29 experienced player .
      = Finally no walker stinkers, and he's not captain thank god .
      = so refreshing not to see frustration of seeing Barnardo & graalish as wingers [ least productive wingers in PL ] .
      = the defense didn't concede cheap gaol this time . Alot of positive from this game but im not getting carried away i wanna see great performances next 3 games .

      as a slovan fan this was definitely learning experience lol I am just happy that we are getting to group stage of some european competition semiregularly and hopefully we will get to champions league more often and get more competitive over the next few years because this was quite humiliating lol main difference between champions league and other competitions we played over the years is extreme pressing we can't handle so far and can't make three passes for love of god lol.

      He's playing UCL against MC maybe the only time in his life and he has this level of effort – unbelievable.

      Haaland can't score when he surrounded with fiden and doku they are so selfish and mainly foden he never pass the ball when he in the opponent box always shoot ……. Sometimes you know the position he was shooting is very awkward to scored a goal from the position… I think selling foden is the good option than the Alvarez… We need to feed haaland if he got the ball in the opponent box you know he will score 5/4 times… So why didn't you guys feed him… That's my problem… Need KDB and rico Lewis , savinho cuz they know how to feed haaland❤
