Would have thought with JWP gone, Cresswell would be getting more minutes not less. Heâs the only guy weâve got who can take free kicks and corners. Bowenâs corners have been woeful all season. Plenty of height to aim at, Antonio, Soucek, Mav and Kilman to name a few, but never cause any type of threat.
The inclusion of Summerville is the problem Lopetegui has, because he doesnât have a suitable left back that works with Summerville.
Cresswell was the original choice but he was found out to quickly, Emerson is to attack minded linking up with Paqueta.
Coufal has also been found out causing Bowenâs constant covering instead of attacking.
Now the dynamic of AWB with Summerville, and Mavropanos with Bowen looks a better balance.
Once FĂźllkrug is fit, Kudus behind him, interchanging with both Summerville and Bowen will confuse opposition defenders giving more room for FĂźllkrug to do his thing.
Now with the back four of Mavropanos, Todibo, Kilman and AWB looking solid, the attacking four as mentioned, it just needs the conundrum of the best pairing for the defensive midfield, and I believe that will be Lopeteguiâs preferred eleven within a 4,2,3,1 formation

You made some good points about J-Lo's management. His substitutions and issues with players seem to show that he doesn't know what he's doing, especially his pronouncement to have two players in every position and not use them effectively in each position
4141 fullbacks and 4231 fullbacks have different roles Mavropanos can play in a flat 4 . 4231 is an attacking fullback role.

My order of preference would be:
1. RB: AWB & LB: Emmerson (Default)
2. RB: Mavro & LB: AWB (Emmerson off/injured)
3. RB: Mavro & LB: Emmerson (AWB injured)
I think what youâve overlooked is that lopetegui is very tactically aware, he may change his âpecking orderâ game by game based on what will suit that particular opponent. Itâs not about pecking order itâs about moments in games.
Personally for me would play Paqueta in a false nine striker role, kudus behind, Jaz and Summerville on flanks, allows Paqueta to drop deep, and where we want him around the final third kudus to run in behind and drive centrally with the ball. And Jaz to run inside. Soucek behind. Technically Paq would draw and cause defenders out of position allowing the ball in behind the defender and attacking the free space. Kudus more freedom, and allows the midfield to have bodyâs who will run in Soucek and Alvarez, solder when we control games, we struggle control. Feel like that would bring us more.
Ipswich make the game easier for the players by marking the opponents. We play with confusion like Soucek running around like a headless chicken. COYI.
