West Ham played Brentford away in a 1 all draw in the 6th round of the 24/25 season. At half time, Kudus was surprisingly subbed off for Carlos Soler, while not being injured. At the post-match interview, West Ham’s manager, Lopetegui was asked about the decision and he said “It was a tactical decision. I was thinking we need that. I was thinking that was better for the team and we needed these kinds of changes. In the second half, we worked as a team”.
Do these comments suggest that Kudus isn’t a team player, and the team plays better without him? Let’s find out.

  1. Was it not the same Kudus who was making waves in the first season? Was he a team player then or not? Why are we sometimes so biased in our analysis? Hasn't his position been changed?
Check Julen's records as a coach in Madrid and you'll understand why they sacked him quickly before the season ended.
