Manager Erik ten Hag reported no new injury concerns following Manchester United’s Europa League game on Wednesday, which saw Mason Mount return from injury.

Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Leny Yoro remain on the sidelines.

Tottenham will make a late decision on the fitness of captain Son Heung-min, who was forced off against Qarabag.

Boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed “everyone else is okay” after Thursday’s Europa League win, with Wilson Odobert and Richarlison remaining long-term absentees.
Match facts

Head-to-head

After a run of four straight Premier League defeats against Manchester United between 2021 and 2022, Tottenham are unbeaten in their last three against them in the league (W1, D2).

Spurs have lost 24 Premier League away games versus Manchester United (W4, D4). Only Everton have lost as many top-flight away fixtures against a single opponent.

All four of Spurs’ Premier League wins at Old Trafford were in their last 12 visits (D1, L7).

Manchester United

Manchester United can lose more than two of their opening six matches of a Premier League season for the fourth time in their history.

The Red Devils had a 20-game unbeaten run at home in the Premier League from August 2022 to August 2023 (W17, D3), but have lost seven of their 19 home fixtures since (W9, D3).

However, they have kept four clean sheets in their last six top-flight games, which is one more than they had in their previous 24 combined.

Bruno Fernandes has attempted 17 shots in the Premier League this season, more than any other player who is yet to score.

Marcus Rashford has scored six top-flight goals versus Tottenham – only against Leicester (eight goals) does he have a better record.

Rasmus Hojlund has not started a Premier League game since a 1-0 home defeat versus Arsenal in May. The Red Devils won only one of the last eight top-flight matches the Dane started (D4, L3).

Tottenham Hotspur

They have won three Premier League away games since November 2023 – no side ever-present in the top flight in that time has fewer victories on the road.

Spurs have remained winless in their opening three Premier League away fixtures in only one of the last 15 seasons (2019-2020).

Spurs can win consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since March. Ange Postecoglou’s side have only six victories in 16 top-flight games since (D2, L8).

Tottenham have made 263 off-the-ball runs into the opposition box in this season’s Premier League, a figure exceeded only by Liverpool (282).

Son Heung-Min has created 13 chances from open play in the top flight this season, more than any other player (prior to the latest round of fixtures).

Spurs’ captain is also one short of moving into the top 20 of the all-time leading Premier League goal scorers.

  1. Very apt that the fans forum was on during political party conference season. Only party members allowed in to the ENIC conference. Like Chris as soon as I saw the Chirpy hat it was time to switch off the circus. We were lucky against carrier bag and we will be punished by a poor United side if we perform to that level again. Struggling as always to keep it Tottenham.

  2. Against Qarabag it was The Charge of the Light Brigade stuff.
Death or Glory. Ange-Ball, heart in the mouth stuff, but it's great when it works, unless you have a weak heart.

We certainly had Qarabag confused. I think because we scored the goals it put them under extra pressure when they had their chances.
Against Man. Utd, it will be another matter.
A great chat as usual fella's. Look forward to it every week, COYS.

  3. I've never been so down about a 3-0 win.
It was embarrassing at times, and it was like we were actively trying to let them score.
Other YouTube channels are trying to praise that performance! Clowns!
Gray is getting praise for some reason but I thought him and Davies were absolutely shocking!

  4. The Werner sub was like the straw that broke the straw that broke the camel. Timo Werner is on Anges head, cos he took the flack for the transfer. Not giving Moore a run was a purely selfish move from Ange, hoping Werner can score against a pub side and make it look a little better. That instead of giving a young hopeful some minutes that EVERYone wanted. Pure self interest over the clubs and fans interest. Couple that with Ange attempting to rebrand and misrepresent the "Spurs way" to mean not being interested in defending, and it results in me wondering how any real Tottenham fan can be behind him now.

  5. Bravo! Great conversation! I think I need to either lay down in a darkened room or open a bottle of red lol….Sod it the red! I've said before…Two cars on the driveway, nothing in the fridge. Now two cars parked on the driveway, with no fuel, plus nothing in the fridge Coys!

  6. I am of the vintage that will be surprised if we get a draw at OT, they are ordinary but will want it more. Spurs are perfect opposition for any team that needs a leg up. Hope Im wrong, but lets keep it real.

  7. I'm getting sick and tired of hearing one bloke in the news tell me he's going to reset everything.

And the other that the fans should be patient and understand what he’s trying to achieve.

I will not be sad to see the back of both of them.

  8. great show as usual chaps,, unlike our spurs in midweek,,,,
think you are voicing all our thought,, 3 0 up,, we all want to see moore,, we get werner,, would liked to have seen a bit of lankshear, for 10 mins, and rest dom,,,,

  9. All the happy clappers, especially the aussie tramp, are creaming their jeans over the last win. If they weren't such a hopeless pub side and had taken their chances our brave boys might have succeeded in snatching a loss from the jaws of victory.
Wise up. We are still crap and will remain so under our rookie manager.

  10. There’s really no point in expecting anything else we’re still playing Ben Davies 10 years on he was always shyte if carierbag weren’t a pub team we were getting slaughtered ,sick of this levy bargain basement project

  11. What a bunch of whinnying sooks you people are . need to get a life .piss off and follow another team you know what the word supporter means ? I donk think so, biggest bunch of wanker s I've ever heard.
