There is no comparison with Mbappe vs Messi. Mbappe is a great player, who has year to go. Its all about consistency in skills, nutrition and health, which breaks down as the player gets older. I know of only 2 players in that category bar-non, and that is Messi and Ronaldo. Mbappe still needs to play a few more years, and hopefully he can play in the premier, la liga or seria A, which will show how great he can be. But now, its like comparing small baby tomatoes to full ripe bright large red delicious tomatoes..
