Watching this in 2022 and Sane has not improved as a player and has not got into his city numbers despite playing more games in a much easier league. Citys business with him is a blinder. Got the best years from him and let him go. I did love him at City though and was sad to see him go but 10 months out injured and over 50m was not to be sniffed at as players rarely come back to form and this is for me exactly what happened.

I remember when he first got that giant tattoo of himself on his back it had the man city logo then he covered it 😔 I knew he wasn’t going to stay forever then.
