Cody, for such a big man, has fantastic balance and poise. He used the body contact from Kudus to spin him and leave him for dead. Cody when he drives at a defence has two options which he exercises interchangeably – pass it to the overlapping full back which btw is always on the money weighted so well which is not talked about enough or cut inside and slap the ball into the bottom corner. Intrigued to see how to stop Gakpo – my guess would be to have to men on him when he drives one to cut out the pass down the line to the overlapping fullback and one stopping him coming inside to shoot. I love that we have two fantastic options. Diaz appears to be an asset in big games like City and United where his individual brilliance and determination to showcase his immence talent comes to the foure – becomes a mentality beast. Against the smaller team who present low blocks I would agree Gakpo may be the guy. Diaz is generally ineffective with low blocks however can dribble his way inside a telephone box.

Gakpo is like arjen robben. Its tge same move over and over again, but you just can't keep up because they know how to control the pace of the game. They'd stop and continue before you can keep up.
Mybe play gapko after international breaks beacuse south americans have long flight and less recover time.
