The mental gymnastics this lad does to defend the manager is quite something.
The players took it too casual!! What did ten Hag do about it! Isn't that part of a manager's bl**dy job!
ten Hag out! He talks about culture and standards but we ain't seen f**k all!
ten Hag is on squad rotation but Bruno not getting rotated!
This season is not as bad as the results seem.
We have played better football than any other time the last i dont know 6 years?
The results have been poor, but we play decent. Id argue that a team that plays well will in the long run get results even if its a bit off the post at the moment.
Brighton we were the better team, but 3 disallowed goals to small offsite call was just a hint unlucky.
Liverpool we started good, dominated possession but we made 5-6 huge individual errors 3 of which cost a goal. Its not really on the manager that casemiro goes from good one game to horrible the next.
Southampton we played great, we should have scored 4 goals, but didnt. If we played them 10 times and played like that we would win 9.
Twente… well its a bit of the same story isnt it?
Even a 2-1 win would've been f**king embarrassing!
As much as we love Garnacho and Amad if we want to be more productive they need to be understudies to something much better because we are reliant on players that are still developing. If Garnacho was an understudy to Olise and Amad understudy to Saka then your in business. And you could argue Rasmus even as an understudy to an elite striker. But Bruno looks knackered, I definitely think we would benefit from a creative player that was perhaps more magnetic in keeping hold of the ball
Maybe Bruno needs a rest but there is no way ETH will drop him against Spurs.
I used to like watching Steve and now he talks nonsense. Bruno was worse I’ve seen. New lad shud have Been taking off , goal keeper bet at his front post. All he wants to do is talk about Rashford , rash is average
ETH has everything he wanted but the results haven't really changed, only now we don't face 18 shots but still look fragile. And my Liverpool mates keep banging on about Slot.
Yeah I agree with the end statement. Bruno is a chaos player. This articulately explains exactly my feelings about Bruno. When the team was organised into ETH’s way of playing I never thought Bruno would fit in.
Sack ETH !!
I cant wait see any improvement our team
We seem to want to pass it into their net. Eriksen had another idea and just twatted it. Also, Zirkzee is great at holding up the ball, but positionally I think he’s getting in the way of Fernandes and has Weghorst’s boots on. Amad had a bad night. That’s all.
Cant believe we cant beat dutch teams
Just been u unfortunate in last two games coming up against two goalkeepers in excellent form
I saw Bruno fall to the ground and not get up immediately, he looked gashed. That's where I draw the line, too reminiscent of Rashford last year, and the manager needs to protect him, he cannot be the scapegoat of this season.
I had been on him since the loss against city in the charity shield, from that game he just looked off and decision making was terrible, I thought it was a lack of preseason but it has continually gotten worse. However, to see him look that way, I'm not going to join the masquerading chants, we need him at least decent…
Erik you're the manager, manange him.
Ten Hag (clown) out
Up the RH! We joke about it but the Rashford post the international break is noticeably sharper, quicker and more confident.
Had enough of this now. Its time for ETH to go, 1 win in 9 European games should get any man united manager sacked. Ratcliffe needs to appoint a manager he feels should represent the style of play he says he wants to implement. Everything needs clearing out from the Glazer days
Get Maguire off the books ffs
In that game vs Twente, it felt as if we couldn't keep the intensity for the whole of the match. Fitness challenges at this stage will cost points, whether we like it or not.
The equalizer was from their right back cutting thru our midfield like a hot knife thru butter. They lost possession but instantly pressed and recovered from a lackadaisical Eriksen and scored on Onana's near post. Did anybody shout to Eriksen to pass back to Onana?
What's the language used in games, with players of so many varied nationalities?
All the while, the feedback has been that Bruno makes risky passes to create chances, well the reality is in a possession-laden style of play, eliminating turnovers is key.
Who's going to get that message to Bruno now?
Is Bruno going to get that message? Is Ten Hag selecting Bruno only because of the armband?
Were Sancho and Bailly on point about favoritism with this Squad?
Inside the first 10 minutes, Dalot tried to be cute near the flag and turned over that was inches wide of them going ahead. Eliminating turnovers is key to the system the manager wants played.
Two consecutive tepid second-half performances speak volumes. What's the solution?
Zirkzee seems to have an intangible with short incisive passes, how long before the others make the most of those skills, I wonder if Van Nistelroy can still do the business.
Come on Ten Hag, hurry up and fix it.
Jesus christ this fan base is overreactive.
I think United will play better without Bruno. I also think he is predictable now. And other teams know how to stop him playing. He needs to mix it up.
Was at OT last night and the amount of times we could have put a ball down the wing especially with amad and we went through the congested middle was so frustrating. Bruno was shocking he looks mentally tired. Mazrouhi is pure class. We saw the best and worst of Erikson last night
Bruno looks tired. Overplayed
Best signing since Cantona you know😂😂😂,,,, and somehow he still only has 3 more assists than Paul Pogba
And somehow the foolish stadium goers still sing his name like he's led us to a league title😂😂😂
Eriksen with a goal and assist… what a performance
Yo fam, this lot have improved from aggravating to disappointing. Can't for Sunday, can't imagine who will score, Hope is eternal.
I agree Steve. These players have to do better and give more. Erik cant run or kick the ball for them. Changing manager will only see the same things reoccurring in a year or two. Let Erik build this new look young team ffs and fans need to stop overacting to everything. We will improve as the season goes on for sure, we just have to be patient.
Is Bruno bigger than being dropped?
Ste he had a rest he didn’t play against Barnsley till the last few minutes he then started palace and was poor and twente and was poor I appreciate the slight honesty from you but don’t excuse his performances with rest when he’s championed as being an iron man
SAD TO SAY but despite our new signings, the same problem exists, we donot score, but if the other team gets a chance we just crumble. Some of ETH decisions in both team selection & during games baffle me. Ive slated Rashford for last 2 seasons but he is a "confidence" player, if his head is right & feeling confident, we might get to somewhere near where he was But he starts scoring & then gets "rested" for squad rotation???? he didnt go to Euros and should be fresh & yesterday changing Bruno wider is madness & desperate. He has not looked right all season, so many bad passes. Here we go again, another season of woe & the occassional brilliance may carry us, but we are still a million miles away from being contenders for the big trophies. Hurts me to say it, but unfortunately its true
Bruno has been disgraceful all season. I dont understand why the hell he stays on the field and why we gave him a new contract. He does more harm than good…mount, in the games hes played, has been better than him. Get rid of the crybaby FFS
Finally, people are cottoning on to Bruno’s poor performances. His passing has always been poor, his decision making when Utd have an attack, is poor and him running around like a headless chicken leaves huge gaps in Utd’s midfield structure. If he’s not scoring or assisting, which he’s not, he’s a massive liability to this Utd team and should be dropped. Captain or not. I don’t think Ten Hag has the balls to do it as he never even takes him off when he’s playing terribly
Shocking bruh
Ste the manager definitely is to blame. Who would do worse than him with this set of players? We're drawing with too many lower teams and we still don't have that much of an identity. The players are taking it too easy because the manager has to instil a sense of determination into this team. Where's the pride? Ten Hag is spending all his time on training and nothing else which is why we're always injured.
I think you were watching a different game mate😭😭
Man! Will we ever improve under ETH? We have had only one game against a tough opponents so far and we got hammered. And the rest of our games have been just boring. I know Garna and Zirkzee wasted some chances but when you watch United games you cannot predict where the goals should come from!! I don't know. It is what it is. I guess we should wait till ETH learns more about high level football.
No need for Bruno to start that game, its games like these he needs to be rested but not subbing him and put him RW where he can't take on his man was a ridiculous decision.
I completely agree with the rest point. Recovery is very much a thing in sport. and if he's not getting the recovery his body needs, it will be telling him. Maybe that's what we've observed.
Rashford had no final ball
Talking about the players "singing"; I find it funny how people want to still blame Rashford for this. I was sat in the top teir of the Stretford end, I had a bunch of people complaining about players, they cheered when Eriksen scored, and has a little chant and that was it. Besides a few pockets of fans trying their best the Stretford end(you know, where it's supposed to be notoriously rowdy) was dead. Fans can sit there and blame players and managers, but where's their part in the game? The advantage of home games is the home crowd, and we were almost non existent; time to break out the prawn sandwiches.
i think its time to admit, United are an average middle of the table kind of club. They are no longer a super power club. They are just… average
The big, big question is did you win the xg ? Hahahaha
We are always a man down Bruno is not in any games Southampton 18 mins before he touched the ball in the first half I know everyone loves him but I can't see why . We need a leader on the pitch not a player who thinks it's all about him
Keep up the good work Stephen
