  1. Games bring revenue for the players, the club, the cities, media/marketing, brands and all the businesses around the game. More games = more revenue, fans want to see more games, businesses around the game want to see more games.
Players get paid more and more based on all that extra $ being generated, but players will be more likely to get hurt if they push themselves to the max. I don’t know what the answer is, how many games is too many games ? Elite players who consistently compete till the end of tournaments will play more games that’s just the nature of it.

  2. Besides the greed of FIFA / UEFA I think what's killing the games more are pre-season games , there was no such thing just 15 years ago , we had friendly games prior to the season but not this nonesense US tour and the amount of games played that many players come injured from already

  3. It's incredibly lazy tbh to just put these injuries of fixture congestion, seems to me that every injury now is going to be put on fixture congestion and that's silly on its face

  4. Extended preseason tours, pointless tournaments like the Carabao Cup, Nations League matches, and now the Club World Cup are turning the sport into nearly a year round event. Even as a fan, I want to see the players given much more rest. There are so many matches now it feels like games are losing their jeopardy more and more. It’s turned into a never ending blur.

  5. Too many international games, start with that. Allow teams to have bigger squads if they qualify for more competitions. Get rid of injury time and pushing time wasting harshly. Schedule European club matches like UCL and UEL so that travel is easier.

  6. Nations League was the most pointless add-on ever. Don't even get me started on about those International friendlies that happen just a few weeks into a season

  7. Just limit the number of minutes players can play, like 500 minutes in any rolling 30 period for example. It will mainly affect big clubs because they go further in cup competitions and they've got the squads to cope. It takes manager out of the awkward situation of wanting to protect players but wanting to win.

  8. Players are getting paid more 400k a week some of theme ,and they want demonstration. For playing lot game ,do your job its overtime mandentory ,if I can get a shift that can pay me 100k a week I’ll work everyday

  9. Very few people in this world that I legit hate. Javier Tebas is at the top of that list. Him talking about useless fixtures is simply hilarious. Coming from a guy who wants to move some La Liga games to the USA

  10. Make football players earn salaries like normal people do, according to their playing years(experience), accolades(personal achievements-trophies) and skills.

Too much money for guys kicking the ball a few times over 90 minutes.

The best players should be earning no more than a CEO of a big company. And only a few should get that not everybody.

  11. Whoever is agreeing with these rich people complaining about to many games…..look at teachers, nurses, factory workers, and construction workers. They have to go no matter what and everyday…..these people getting so much money, let them cry

  12. Simple solution for the excess of games for the 25/30 top teams. Limit the number of games players are allowed to play. Then rotation is a must and coaches have to prioritize which games their players play.

  13. this is why the super league is absolutely necessary. not for the big teams, but for the small teams. having the top 20-30 clubs in a single league would also limit the amount of money coming into these teams. the number of trophies they can win. thereby creating more opportunities for the rest of the clubs to put on a good show. and make no mistake its just an opportunity. the clubs have to make the best of being able to compete against teams with similar resources.
