  1. Typical ESPN dross. These clowns make the Sky lot look insightful, imagine how bad they must be.
Do they do anything than recycle old boring narratives from 3 years ago?
Who on Earth is paying them to spout this liquid sh**?

  2. you guys taking it out of context. You have no idea if Klopp just wanted him to be more free in games, which it looked like over the years. Trent only started showing defensive issues when hendo got older and Gini left. Obviously the game plan was to get Trent further up the pitch and have Hendo Matip and Fab cover his defensive duties and you no what it workek because they won trophies. So I don't get what this discussion is about.

  3. For those commenting slot is best,if u think he is let him win EPL,klop had develop Trent not just him look at Eliot,is he not great, under klop Southgate playing him in midfield and the pundit then criticizing klop y he can't play him in the same position, now new manager of national team who knows what Trent can deliver while playing at the right back,he became the man of the match, the same pundit who criticize klop for not playing him now say he has improved, Trent maybe want to become best in the national team by defending, then these pundit got it wrong,NO LFC MANAGER WILL BE GREAT THAN KLOP

  4. No but its a matter of perspective-situations change, teams change and the game changes. There are reasons why he is the vice captain and that statement is one of them. He steps up and commits to improvement publicly. You guys are wrong.

  5. At this point, it looks like you guys are just hating… Trent has been acknowledged by many people, even outside the country. Even the legend himself, Roberto Carlos, admires him. It's sad that these kinds of comments come from so-called journalists in his own country. He's so good with the ball, yet people focus on his mistakes and call him the worst defender. As far as I'm concerned, he's never been a bad defender.

You were never close to what he has achieved as a player, nor are you anywhere near his quality. So maybe try to work better now, so people might remember you as good journalists.

  6. Surely you guys are grown men and understand this situation better. Have you thought maybe this is a comment that Trent will later use to build as a criticism on his way to Real Madrid. Or have you thought that this may be a way of him saying what is currently going on with him getting criticised. Or maybe the guy is just being honest and is of an age now that he realises the weaker side to his game and wants to become the all round best. You guys are idiots.

  7. Klopp relied on Trent to not defend properly, the entire strategy under Klopp was built on it. It's not obvious to me that Slot should be either.. I don't want to see Trent in the back third basically ever, or he's wasted his career and tallent.
