Tottenham captain Heung-min Son says he hasn’t spoken to the club about his future but he is “focused” on this season and wants to win trophies.
Son’s contract expires at the end of the season but the club have an option to extend by a further year.

1. They are paid millions to do it. Money that is unreachable to 99% of eartch's population.
2. Why don't just let academy / 3rd choice ballers to play in less important competitions like EFL, FA cup, Europa & conference leagues – whatever the club's priority is. Is it in the contact between say uefa conference league and the club that they need to play at least 50% of the first team? I don't think so.

It's Great that Son, Rodri, & Other player's are speaking up about Fixture Congestion. They(The Player's) Are Not Slave's!! They're still people, Just because you pay them, Doesn't mean they should be stuck playing 60, 70+ games a year. How about talk to the player's first, Before making decisions like having too many games to play in 1 season.
