It's not even that Rodri is out. It's that Kovacic or Gundogan are Pep's choices for a replacement. Both of which have cost us a champions league final or other games.
Rodrigo is good at what he does but I do not think he is the best in his position. The team he plays for is high-profile so all eyes will naturally be on him. However, I think Anguissa from Napoli is even better.
