Stupid topic as always… against United they need views
the full lot of them talk studs out of bum holes, studs are in a normal position too the floor
Ridiculous analogy. A swinging fist aiming for the face is nothing like two feet aiming for the ball (not the man) in order to block it. Its hardly violent misconduct unless there is some form of contact which there was none.
This is why "faking an injury" is somewhat justified at times. Martinez might not have broken his legs but he definately deserved a Red. That asian player should've rolled like Neymar just to punish that idiotic move
He’s answering without answering. Very very lucky isn’t an answer. The ref could have sent him off even without touching the player is what he should say
Yellow for reckless play, red if he connects.
Wording when you lisandro you a butcher when you gabriel your irresponsible
It's not cow word tackles you talking rubbish
If hed actually touched him then yea, but he didnt 😂
The tackle wasn't necessary but it's not a red card offence looking at the distance
Can’t even answer the questions. Of course it’s a red. The intent is Clear to danger the player
Sky sports 😅jeez it’s over
What exactly is the point of this conversation? Don’t yall anything to discuss?
If he was playing for Arsenal….i can confirm he would have been sent off!!….FACT
Every one in England is against Man utd players and ETH, the only talking point should be the dismall performance by Kyle Walker, I have never seen such useless performance from a right back in EPL
Thankfully Daichi Kamada was not injured 🙏
I can’t remember the last time a premier league professional footballer used a two footed tackle in recent years
Same ole, same ole with Martinez. He's a dirty player, always will be. He keeps it up and we'll start calling him Pepe Jr.
Intent?????
You can't use the punch as a reference to this tackle, that is insane. The tackle was made and he got the ball so it's his saving grace that he didn't get taken off so throwing a punch of not the right question to ask,it's not relevant 😢
100% a red, thats dangerous
Xhaka got sent off at the Etihad a few years ago and didn’t make contact either.
The intent without contact can't be a red card. Are you saying if a player is on a yellow and he attempted to kick away the ball after the whistle is blown he should be given another yellow?
You no get topic
There was a blatant handball by a Palace player, which should have been a pen for United. But you’d never have guessed it.
Wonder if there would be a "nothing to see here" from sky if this is palace player doing it… I remember last season in the FA cup a forest player grabbed Bruno around the neck and nothing was said but when Casemiro did it he needed putting down it something! Double standards.
We're waiting for saliba to get a red card for a similar situation
It’s a red card contact or not because making a dangerous challenge like that is a risk and has some intent
Let the rules work and stop defending the referees. When teams do they get sent off.
Haaland needs to get punished for throwing the ball to hit Gabriel's head.
The rules in the premier League favour some teams and the rest No.
Why won’t he just admit it should have been red – corruption
Rob’s next questionable analogy: “If Martinez pulled out a bazooka and fired it at Kamada, but missed, he still should be sent off”
So you have to break someone's leg for it to be a red ,I thought the rule was a reckless put of control tackle is a red regardless of impact
Has dermot been put on this show to defend every refs stupidity?
Swinging a fist isnt a common football occurrence though
Whys the title not Stupid Martinez escapes. Remember when Xhaka made no contact but was sent off these guys man.
Seeing this from Martinez' POV, I think he went 2 foot in to scare the player off into retracting from the ball. He is an intelligent player and knew exactly what he was doing. For people claiming he could've broken his leg if he made the contact, Martinez would've easily bent his legs sideways to avoid the 2 footed contact. I know Martinez is known for rough tackles but he is a very intelligent player and wouldn't have done this if he had doubts about making this level of nasty contact.
He’s not in control of that
are you joking? How dare you say dat? You are waiting the opponent players leg get broken to show that crazy guy red? this is incompetence. you have all right to protect the other players who plays believing you will decide fairly. He tried to broke the other guys leg fortunatley survived. you said he is lucky not to touch him If he didn't touch him why the ref stop the play then? If he say its foul its direct red. if it were arsenal player they will end up with 2 red cards. how can you allow that player stay in the pitch and sending trossard off. which player shouldn't stay in the feild? Premiere league officiating is becoming worse and worse
Sack dermot absolute donut
Absolutely no mention of the handball penalty United never got. Nor will it ever be shown again, let alone dissected for a week with 14 different "experts ". The jealous hatred will never end.
