Slowly slowly, he dropped rashford and look how we played 1st half, now imagine someone who doesn't give the ball away like Bruno, that's the next step dropping him
5 league games, 2 wins, 2 defeats & 1 draw. Simply not good enough no matter what way you spin it but 90% of this fanbase are happy with the current manager in charge, pathetic. #TenHagOut
Look! What ETH has done to our club, that stubborn coach has no strategy for playing. Hey brother, this is ManUnited, we should be in the top 4, 5, or 6, but look at us now, we're a mediocre team !!! #TenHagOut
While we still have Bruno and Rashford on the pitch the temptation to play hoofball will always be there, and as we have seen over the past 3 years it’s a tactic this manager is only to happy to use. The big difference is he doesn’t have Mctominay there anymore to rescue him and this is the reason ETH didn’t want to sell him. Bruno looks for that ball over the top as soon as Rashford is on the pitch, what that does is send out distress signals to the team saying we are out of ideas and we don’t trust the rest of you to get us out of this.
As a rival supporter(Chelsea) i still try to be objectiv. You lot wont win any major title(prem) or trophy(champions league) with Bruno and/or Rushford. And so you cant build a team around them. Just suck it up and sell both. Invest that money into your defense, midfield and wingers. Yes your current players are able to score 7 against a League 1 team. No thats still not good enough for the prem nor champions league. Bring in Chelobah for 25mil. You get a good rotation/bench option for the whole right sided defensive positions. From CB up to RWB. Add another LB. Luke Shaws time is up. Sign a ball playing DM. A decent 8 to give Mainoo enough time to rest during a season. Sign Eze and Kudus for the wings. Yes they arent cheap. How ever you need players of that quality. Provide enough depth with Amad and Garnacho. Who can develop proper behind these signings. Play either Zirkzee or Mount in the 10. Depending on what you need for a certain game. More pressing or more creativity. Try your luck on Osimhen. When Bruno, Rushford and Casemiro are gone you have the money for his wages. A front 3 with Eze LW, Kudus RW and Victor on top you will score goals no problem. Bite the bullet and sell Onana. There are better options out there. Diogo Costa could be your GK for years to come. But most important sack your current Gaffer asap! Be brave and sign a young manager. With his own take and ideas on modern tactics and formations. With proper ingame management. Dont dream about Alonso from Leverkusen, Zidane or Nagelsmann. Be realistic. Someone like Armorin is still at Lisbon. He can transform this midi squad into something great.
Just imagine for a second your Gaffer would be Armorin. Your "Core Squad" could look like this:
We still seeing the same thing bro facts , Bruno hoofing the ball , rashford not having an impact , wrong substitution , bad in game management and many more , guys it’s year 3 , so do you still think ten hag will win the league ???? Let’s be serious guys nahhh , there is no top 4 4th game we still at 11th place come on , and teams are winning ,arsenal, mancity , Chelsea , Tottenham ,Liverpool,
The worst part is that Bruno hasn’t even been reckless in recent weeks, the part that decided it for me was when he used the trivela for the one on one, missed quite comfortably, then about a minute later used it again for a pass, it was intercepted, he got ball back like 15 seconds afterwards and tried it AGAIN, obviously losing possession
Eriksen proves he is still decent on the ball and why he is key to the team. Taking of zirkzee for Rashford killed the game. Rashford does not press and offers very little in terms of movement. He seems to have stopped running off the ball and actually runs towards the player with the ball rather than stretch the play. Everything good stopped when he came on.
Bruno is overhyped. I have been saying for years that he has no game discipline. He wants to lecture others but does not respond himself. He gives the ball away too much, which means you have to go back. Garnacho is ye wild and has no ball feeling. Martinez slows down the game enormously. Constantly standing still and taking an enormous amount of time. Even when it is urgent.
Thank you so much for pointing out Lisandro daydreaming with the ball at his feet. I'm not even a Manchester United fan but as a football supporter I got so exasperated watching him do that again and again. I almost wanted to make a twitter account and rant against him, that's how infuriating it was. Thanks to you voicing that opinion in public now, I don't have to get back on twitter thankfully! Every time he had the ball he would take ages as if he was gonna play an Ozilesque pass, and guess what sidepass to De Ligt or back to Onana. And De Ligt too refused to pass to Mazraoui tons when he could have advanced the play easily. The centreback pingpong was drab.
Rashford was again a passenger in the game,i just pity some of you fans always talking about his confidence like its some kind of moon that comes out every few months and all you need to do is wait amd be patient, dude's been done having any feel for the game a long time it's not just easy for him coming out to say he wants to retire at the age of 26.sometimes i think us fans forget these players are humans too and as many of us would desire a change of profession they are not exempt
So funny how we removed Zirkzee and we stopped creating chances. At what point do we remove Bruno when he is glaringly awful
TO ME ITS SIMPLE, WE ARE COUNTER ATTACKING TEAM. WE NEED SPACE BEHIND A DEFENDER TO DO THAT. WE CAN'T DO THAT AGAINST DEFENDER THAT SIT DEEP ALSO THEIR GK IS OFFENSIVE ALWAYS RUN OUT TO COVER AREA
the fowards movement needs to be better and they need to start finishing their chances, rubbish fowards
weve needed someone who can put the ball in the net for years. lets be honest our two number nines are clincal. zirkzee signing was pointless
Sick to death of Rashford, only scores goals against Sunday league players. He is a bang average player, always has been always will be
