On Monday, March 15, midfielder Yunus Musah confirmed his decision to represent the U.S. Men’s National Team going forward via this reveal video across U.S. Soccer social media channels.

Previously an England youth international, the New York City-born Musah earned two caps for the USMNT during the November 2020 window and is now committed to play for the Red, White and Blue ahead of a busy year which will feature the Concacaf Nations League Final Four, Gold Cup and the beginning of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying.

  1. Can't wait. Hate all the people saying he's not "American"…. kid is a child of immigrants who has spent his entire life in multiple different countries. You have no idea who he feels any sentiment to.

  2. I am very excited about what is getting ready to hit the Soccer world. It won't belong before the Stars and Stripes are FEARED among the soccer elite… Never seen anything like what is happening in US soccer…I guess we got tired of being made fun of…We will see very soon who will get the last laugh.
