Manchester United are set to land a former transfer target.
Manchester United have had a productive summer transfer window, both in terms of player acquisitions and player sales, and the Ineos regime continues at Old Trafford.
Spanish media outlet Fichajes claims that Chelsea’s Axel Disasi could be the primary target to fill the void, with the Red Devils considering a transfer after several years at Monaco.
Disasi could still be on United’s radar – but Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof would have to leave to bring in the Chelsea star on loan. The Blues could also be interested in a loan move with the French defender having a long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.
Currently valued at €40 million according to Transfermarkt, Chelsea are unlikely to make a profit on their 2023 investment.
