  1. Heads up to Arnold probably not the strongest socceroos team in a long time and to achieve what he did with this team at the world cup was way beyond expectation good luck to him in the future

  2. Arni,
    Fggggbbnk the critics!
You did your best , achieved and some,! A credit to you!
The boys on the pitch are a combination!
    Team and of the mind/coach.
Let’s wish these boys Aust the best!

  3. Arnie I've been a critic of yours but that Redmayne substitution for the shoot out with Peru I don't think I will ever forget. That whole shoot out was honestly surreal. Knowing what Redders was going to do (or at least likely to do) and then him subsequently having no fear or hesitation in doing his goal line routine I thought showed planet sized cajones from both of you. It seemed like a moment that both of your careers could potentially have been defined by to a degree and you guys got us over the line. It was an incredible moment for yourselves, Australia and it proved to be the right call. I honestly can't describe how crazy that shootout was with so much riding on it and many millions of eyeballs watching on.

Also, you go out as being the highest achieving Socceroos coach in the World cup of all time so fair play to that.

  4. Hold your head high son, you gave everything you had and 150% nothing left
You have done so much for Australian football, be proud and hold your head high. Smart move and big self awareness from a wise manager.
    Outstanding, thankyou Arnie

  5. Of the 8 games to go , 4 are vs Japan and Saudi so it's going to be really tough. With hindsight Arnie should have retired after a much better than expected and successful World Cup – unfortunately it doesn't give the new coach much time to get ready for the 2 big games in October so fingers crossed we can find the right guy who will come in and get the boys playing much better football to get the results we need.

  6. Thank Graham for his services for all these years. Would have been better in hindsight and for the country that he made this decision straight after the Asian Cup but we move on. I also think he realised where we are as a footballing nation and that we don’t have the depth or the growth in improvement compared to other nations in the world. The separation of the A League and W League to our National team is massive and now with 2 experienced coaches gone this is a crucial moment in the history of Australian soccer.
