  1. Arteta said he wants every player to suffer for the shirt each time they step on the pitch! Any player unable or unwilling to do that won’t be playing for the arsenal!!

  2. Henry, havertz, saka. Bergkamp odegaard vieria. White Gabriel Saliba Ashley Cole raya from a guy who was 20 during the invincible era. You might swap pires for bergkamp if you wanted more energy in midfield. Gilberto as the invisible wall for vieria could happen as well. Rice to come on. Edu on the bench so that the younger one could meet the older one!

  3. Martinelli hate is ridiculous lad has insane energy and is unfairly compared to the world class player we have on the right hand side it’s not that easy to upgrade on that position. Scoring isn’t everything it’s the take one and chances he puts on for everyone.

  4. One thing I'd like to point out that I haven't seen any people cover yet is that we were 1-0 away to our biggest rivals and in the 80th min make our first two subs, both being attackers. Then Saka gets injured and we bring another mid/forward on. Arteta was so confident in our defense we didn’t need to make that usual 5 in the back emergency Holding sort of sub. When I saw Saka get injured, I honestly thought Kiwior would come on. Im happy Arteta brought on Nwaneri. Shows how strong our defense is

  5. One thing I loved about the spurs game that I wanted to highlight was the performance levels of Timber. Clearly getting fitter and finding his feet, not backing out of challenges, getting involved in play. Really impressed me

  6. If martinelli gave us the game he gave us against spurs at the weekend week in week out, he’s a great player, and goals and assists will come over the season. But if he gets clinical in the 1/2 chance game he can become world class. If martinelli only becomes a great player it’s still not a bad return and great player to have in the side

  7. martinelli had the most dribbles completed and was a menace in the first half and defensively he was great. But I think because he has not scored or assisted in a while he will get criticism when missing a chance.

  8. Martinelli has been getting so much slander this season so far. Just go to the live match thread on the r/Gunners subreddit. If Martinelli takes a step wrong, people start foaming at the mouth.

  9. Martinelli played well, even comparable to Saka, the Right side had been overpowered because of Odegaard, he missed a chance yes, but he played well going forward and back

  10. Hello Tom. Fists of all, thanks a lot for the show. I've been a listener since The Arsenal Way. Your podcasts always bring a centered and respectful view to see our beloved Arsenal.
I've been an supporter since the 2000s, thanks to the amazing Thierry Henry and the bands of Invencibles. I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly!
Today's monologue is one of the best you've delivered, explaining the current state of Arsenal and how happy we should be. Again, thanks and cheers from Florida!

  11. Honestly Arteta's first 2 seasons were dull we were trying to be solid defensively, Thanks to auba we finished 8. Then yes when he brought his players we progressed but Arteta's football was dull at first.
