As a harsh critic of Vanney in the past, I do believe he deserves more credit this year. The way he’s been able to manage player injuries,,suspensions and finding a way to incorporate our bench players to create more depth has been phenomenal.
Also, props on the podcast. Love how you guys keep everything on point without unnecessary rambling.
It was a ballsy call to go into such a high-stakes match with only one pivot, given how successful we have been playing with Cerrillo, Delgado and/or Brugman in a double-pivot setup. It worked for most of Saturday night and also when Reus came on against Atlanta, but the double pivot is what got us to the top of the West in the first place. Which system do you think will get us further in the playoffs: single or double pivot?
