  1. I didn't want City sell Alvarez, but I don't blame Alvarez asking to be moved. Oscar Bobb needs more playing time and I hope Pep plays him more this year.

  2. Same Atletico who bought the overrated 19 yo Joao Felix for €127.20m with a stupid 10 year contract (5 years later he is only worth 30m), they are just bad with money tbh & City rinsed them

  3. this is a great signing for Atletico. La Liga will be really competitive this season. i think Atletico will probably stick with the 3-5-2. i think Sorloth and Alvarez can both play up front with Alvarez dropping into midfield and playing as more of a #10. he's probably more of a Griezmann replacement than a Morata replacement. Sorloth will probably take that role. the 2 in midfield will probably be Gallagher and De Paul. and then with Le Normand at the back their defense should be very strong. i wouldn't be surprised if Atletico finish above Barcelona and push Real Madrid all the way.

  4. I don’t think it’s time to leave yet, I’m not a City fan but this team has experience and talent from both coaches and players which you get to learn from. Staying will help him prove himself as a top player. He needs to continue personal achievements to show his true talent, beyond team successes titles, which mostly depend on a group of skilled players. I don’t think atlético is the right move just to get minutes. He has only been in a European club for only a year and it’s City.

  5. Bad grammar wording it as “Man City’s Most EXPENSIVE Departures” it insinuates Man city is LOSING significant funds with this departure. From my understanding after watching it sounds more like it should be worded “Man City’s Most PROFITABLE Departures”

  6. Kudos to Alvarez and Pep, got the lad some game time, but not too much to risk serious injury… Alvarez performed in most every situation he was put in at city and gained a ton of experience while playing at the top level. Strategic sale of a hungry and promising baller. I think he is going to do great things at Athletico🎉

  7. A lot of y’all are saying he had a lot of minutes but he never did start for big important matchs. Unless haaland was injured 😂. So good for him not wanting to be second choice

  8. Bro morota is the equivalent to Higuian as they can score all day vs mid and lower teams but when you ask morata to show up he’s a flop ! What game is ale watching ? Morata is literally a choke artist when he plays against actual teams. Higuian would also disappear vs difficult opponents
