First off Devlin delivers a sermon talking about All Blacks players being released for NPC duty this weekend. 12 in total have been given the green light to play for their provinces, but why not more? Why is someone like Noah Hotham – who’s barely played rugby since the end of Super Rugby Pacific – isn’t allowed to suit up for Tasman?

Then, Devlin is joined by former All Black Justin Marshall who offers his thoughts on New Zealand’s losing tour to South Africa, motorsport expert Greg Rust previews the Sandown 500, former Warriors hardman Kevin Campion looks ahead to this weekend’s slate of NRL finals matches, Wellington rugby assistant Ryan Piper previews their Ranfurly Shield challenge away to Tasman, and Devlin calls up Collingwood Tavern owner Renee Swan who had the Shield on display in her pub on Thursday.
