He already said that he sees football as a job and nothing else, he went to the World Cup and couldn’t get along with the manager and other coaches and doesn’t see the point of going back as he knows he’ll only be on the bench. Don’t blame him, just wants to spend time with his family instead of going to tournaments to be bench warmer.

An extremely toxic nation in terms of criticism and hypocrisy as well as a manager with overwhelming biased and stubbornness. White has made it clear he isn’t going to be part of a hypocritical hierarchy’s tendancies. His job is to play for the Arsenal, win/lose/draw. His performances should have more than warranted a start ahead of the coaches favourites. If White couldn’t get a start over Walker/Maguire/Guehi etc at fullback or centrally then it’s not a surprise that he feels it’s a waste of time.
That’s his choice. Leave the man alone. England are no closer to winning a trophy then Arsenal currently anyway 😅
