I watched him at Bayern he was poor at times I couldn't tell the difference between him and Eric Dier. Hopefully, he'll bounce back at United, but when you jump around to this many clubs in a short period of time, something is definitely up behind the scenes.

Anyone who says De Ligt made any mistakes the last two games knows nothing about the game. Van Dijk had multiple mistakes and costed them 2 goals and should’ve cost them 3. De Ligt makes a bad pass from stupid buildout tactics by KOEMAN and because Gravenberch doesn’t defend his guy it’s his fault. Then because Van Dijk doesn’t defend the correct man and has no awareness on the second goal, it’s De Ligt’s fault. Because the goalkeeper was poorly positioned and let a floated ball bounce inside the penalty spot it’s De Ligt’s fault? Because Simmons stopped marking in midfield and Van Dijk let his man score the first goal for Bosnia it’s De Ligt’s fault???? There’s a reason Koeman has only won stuff in Netherlands and a Portuguese super cup…. He knows nothing about the game!

De Ligt was Bayern’s best player the last two seasons. His problem was that his personality is too big for the manager’s liking. He wasn’t dropped for performance but rather personality.
