Yunus Musah and Matt Turner REACT to be CHOSEN to the USMNT for Qatar 2022.

Gregg Berhalter has announced his 26-man USA squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which includes international tournament debuts for Valencia’s Yunus Musah and Juventus’ Weston McKennie.

19-year-old, Musah, who spent his youth career at Arsenal, denied himself the opportunity to play for England, choosing the US because he believes moments like this ‘are destined to happen.’

Juventus midfielder, McKennie, has big ambitions for his nation in Qatar saying that his mission is ‘to go as far as possible and maybe even win it.’

One shock exclusion from Berhalter’s squad is Middlesbrough goalkeeper Zack Steffen, replaced by Arsenal reserve, Matt Turner, who explained that his move to the Emirates has given him that extra bit of ‘credibility’ in order to be chosen for the World Cup.

USA’s campaign gets underway in just on November 21 against Wales.
