Considering salah and van dijk will be 33 and 34 next season, any long term deals will be unlikely and max one year extensions would be the only viable options, salahs out put has declined whilst still being at top premier league numbers, however its the injury risk and that means replacements would need to be signed whilst still having both at the club, financially this makes no sense so its very likely both will be released and younger alternatives signed, having two ageing stars on £200,000 plus contracts and having two players on £100,000 plus to be injury backs ups, rotation options and their replacements next year is financial stupidity, as for trent Alexander-Arnold…hes not that good unfortunately, is likely to demand a massive contract, he had a good season or two, but he isn't a international starter nor will he be, his attacking output is outweighed by his defence frailty, there are more well rounded right backs out there who are much more athletic, better defensively, and whilst not as good going forward is actually what Liverpool need, Liverpools midfield is much more able to contribute to attack than before, also trents experiment in midfield shows he isnt actually good enough to to hold up, so unfortunately its more than likely will either be sold or released, Liverpool fans need to remember a full back is a defense and athleticism first position not attack and he isnt actually that good at attack more a one season fluke and has been ezposed when put in midfield
