SUMMARY OF EPL WEEK THREE MATCHES: MANCHESTER CITY AND LIVERPOOL STAY TOP.
1. Westham vs. Manchester City (1-3): Erling Haaland became the man of the match as he scored his 2nd hattrick of the season in just three games making him top scorer with 7goals in 3games. Manchester city scored via the assist from Bernardo Silva to Erling Haaland in the 10th minute but Westham got the equalizer in the 19th minute through Ruben Dias, however city scored in the 30th minute when Erling Haaland converted an assist from Rico Lewis to lead at half time. In the 83rd minute Erling Haaland finally sealed the win through an assist by Matheus Nunes to end the match 3-1 in city’s favour. City has now gotten three wins from three matches to keep 100% winning this season.
2. Manchester United vs. Liverpool (0-3): Liverpool started on a high pressing after their goal in the 7th minute was disallowed by VAR to offside claims. However, Mohamed Salah provided a header assist to Luis Diaz in the 35min in which Diaz scored the first goal. In the 42rd minute Mohamed Salah again gave an assist to Luis Diaz in which he scored his second goal. After the half time Liverpool kept pressing and this time Dominik Szoboszlai gave Mohamed Salah and assist and he scored the third goal. Mohamed Salah who was involved in all three goals was named the man of the match, with a rating of 9.2. This results catapult Liverpool to top of the table alongside Manchester City, while Manchester United with just one win this season and two loses are 14th place in the EPL table.
