Took a lot of crap from armchair critics but finished going out a winner & left a legacy just like Stacy & Benji inspiring the next generation to follow their dreams in the "Greatest Game Of All"
That last second try cost me a 5-1 multi π’
This was uploaded soo late, nrl loves the warriors lol
As a kiwi growing up in aus sj debut year is the reason im a wahs fan and have been since then, your the man sj
Legendary stuff from SJ.
What a great press conference.
Nice to see Webby n SJ good on ya
sj will have a mad career post footy he is so approachable and such a good communicator. halves coach + media
Shaunβs passion in his new endeavour was engrossing. Legend!
Incase you forgot., one of the very few to hit Sam Burgess 1outs π€£
That clutch pass is symbolic of Shaun Johnson. π
I have been a warriors supporter since they started and over the years we have had a lot of disappointments with inconsistency but SJ has been magical and provided lots of highlights. You have brought lots of joy and happiness to all rugby league fans
Class act SJ ππ
That Fort Minor question hit him hard
Stephen Kearny was the Warriors worst coach because he didnt know how awesome Shaun Johnson is and he pushed him out if the club.
The perfect way for such a gr8 player to finish up. ππππ
If SJ had a coach like Webby earlier in his career, we would've seen more Dally M runs like last year.
π«‘ thank you for your service SJ.
Once a Warrior, forever a Warrior.
Legend of the club . This guy has the best highlights videos on you tube . I would put him as the best half the warriors and kiwis have ever had . Early days his speed and step was red hot . He created amazing memories for me and my son as we lived for the warriors games every week . Along side manu , mannering , hurrell , Locke etc were awesome days for me .
With the most authentic speech being spoken… No wonder fox had to delay this press conference π€£π€£π€£ GTFI Shaun, absolute legend and inspiration for the warriors β€οΈβ€οΈ and while it wasn't quite a season to remember, this game has shown the capabilities of the warriors π€π€π₯π₯π€ GTFI and Up the mighty Wahs π₯π₯π€π€π€β€οΈπ€
What a majestic way to complete your legendary career
Shaun needs to stay with the club if he can.
Along with Dallin, this guy is the reason I watched the Wahs. I will miss watching him on the field.
W press conference
The mans honest churr Shaun π»
This dude is humble, pleasant, funny and I'd say a family man. What a gem!
Why has taken to the end of his amazing carrer to finally get in front of a post- game mic….. "O" for awsome insight from a future Kiwi Imortal.
Could've played like that the whole season would've been at the other end of ladder π especially w the team at the wahs rn whatta let ππΌ
SJ will come out of retirement during the off season and lace up the boots for Vega's 2025.
i see a future coaching duo. Great game, thanks for the memories SJ!
all Aroha but why wait for the last game to have that mentality after how many games
SJ da man tho, that Broncos try tho best
Awesome SJ! We'll miss your magic on the field, but can't wait to see you on your next journey! Thanks so much!
Legend SJ. Bring on Jett Cleary.
Feel good moments of the season I reckon. Great presser
His last game was his best performance all season! 1 more year bro, come on…
The same way American kids were poking out there tongue then calling out Michael Jordan little kids were stepping in their backyard while calling out Shaun Johnson in not just New Zealand but Australia as well. Legends never die they stay embedded in the minds of the ones who witnessed their greatness and the ones we pass down that knowledge to. Thanks sj And up the wahs
Well Done SJ we are gonna miss you enjoy your retirement come on Wahs don't let this guy go he will be awesome in a mentoring role with the club and with a good coach like A Webbster and the team next year we gonna be fine UP THE WAHS 2025 letsss go.
Great fightback in the 2nd half, but as a warriors fan, 2024 was a disappointing season..too many close losses lead to not making playoffs…but bring on 2025.
Sad he was never able to captain the Warriors
Shaun Johnson had a amazing career he will be missedβ€β€
What a career! Been a joy watching you play champ
This coach looks happy in this press conference. This is suppose to be a 13 man game not a one man game. Johnson goes off injured. They win 2 out of 3 games. They needed to make the top 8. And was in a position to do so. They bring Johnson back they loose the rest except 1 game. The last one. Thought making the top 8 would`ve been more important than bringing him back and having a chance of not making the 8. Don`t get me wrong. I think he`s one of the greats. But yeah Up the Wahs 2025.
Absolute legend
Dont be shy to come back next year if our number 7 gets injured fill in the gap π
I thought i knew who Shaun Johnson was, … after listening to this press conference, i clearly had only a vague clue!… in my humble opinion, he is one of the best players to have played this game, ever, and has left his indelible mark on rugby league that only an elite few can do. Listening to him speak for me, i saw a whole lot more of Shaun that i was previously unaware of, and i found him to be, articulate, thoughtful, anticipatory and, sophisticated. I suspect we will hear from Mr. Johnson on a regular basis in the years ahead.
