Let’s get the painful part out of the way. Last year was an absolute disaster for Missouri going 0-18 in SEC play. Expectations last season weren’t high for Missouri last year, and somehow they even performed below those expectations. We know what happened to Missouri, so let’s move on and talk about the future.
This season, even before last year started, has much higher expectations. The incoming freshmen class is one of the better ones in the country and there’s plenty of quality talent heading to Columbia.
But Dennis Gates added even more to this young group of talented players by going out and getting the lucky #13 transfer class in the country this offseason and the #4 class in the SEC.
